    WHERE THE IDEA BEGINS

    Every project starts with a question, feeling, story, or visual language. The concept establishes the world of the piece, its mood, purpose, character, and relationship to movement.

  • Research

    FINDING THE LANGUAGE OF THE DESIGN

    References, historical influences, material, architecture, nature, fashion, and movement come together to shape the visual direction. Research gives the concept depth and helps define what the design can become.

  • Sketch

    GIVING THE IDEA A SILHOUETTE

    The abstract begins to take form through sketches, proportions, details, fabric exploration, and construction ideas. This where imagination becomes a visual blueprint.

  • Construction

    BUILDING MOVEMENT INTO THE FORM

    The design move from paper to the physical world. Fabrics are cut, shaped, draped, sewn, fitted, and refined. For performances pieces, construction is also about understanding how the garment behaves when the body moves.

  • Final Form

    WHEN THE DESIGN BECOMES ALIVE

    The final piece is more than a finished garment. It becomes part of a person, a peformance, a photography, or a story. The design is complete when the original idea and the movement of the wearer become one.
